The aluminum nitride (AlN) powder factory is a modern industrial base focusing on the production of high-performance ceramic materials. It mainly produces high-purity, ultra-fine-grained aluminum nitride powder. Aluminum nitride uses high-purity aluminum powder (purity ≥99.9%) and nitrogen as the main raw materials, and synthesizes aluminum nitride coarse powder by direct nitridation (aluminum powder reacts with nitrogen at high temperature to form AlN) or carbon thermal reduction (aluminum oxide reacts with carbon in nitrogen). Some high-end factories use plasma synthesis to prepare nano-scale powders.
The coarse powder is refined to submicron level (D50 ≤ 1μm) by airflow milling or ball milling equipment, and the particle size distribution is controlled by grading technology to ensure product consistency.
Impurities (such as free aluminum and oxygen content must be controlled at <1%) are removed by processes such as pickling and high-temperature deoxidation, and the purity of some products can reach more than 99.99%.
